A Business Entity is responsible for organizing business activities within the SEZ. To qualify as a Business Entity, the following requirements must be met:
In The Banten International Education, Technology, and Health Special Economic Zone, PT SIW serves as the Business Entity.
Business Actors are entities or individuals conducting business activities within the the SEZ. In the context of The Banten International Education, Technology, and Health Special Economic Zone, Business Actors are partners of PT SIW, contributing to the development of the zone by constructing and operating business facilities. They are also required to obtain the necessary permits to operate.
If Business Actors wish to add branches or business units, they must ensure the registered KBLI code aligns with the latest regulation governing the main activities of the SEZ. Additionally, they must register the business address in the OSS system. If utilizing tax incentives (Tax Holiday/Tax Allowance), separate financial reports must be submitted for the SEZ-based business unit.
Business Actors establishing a new entity must also ensure alignment with the latest KBLI code for the SEZ and establish their business address within the SEZ.
Once the Business Actor obtains a business license, they must submit a Business Actor Identification Number application to the Special Economic Zone Administrator through the OSS system, along with a cooperation agreement with PT SIW. PT SIW will then forward the application to the Administrator for approval.
The Business Actor Identification Number is essential for accessing both fiscal and non-fiscal facilities available within the SEZ.
